Handmade by Jenny A. was created shortly after Jenny moved to Gainesville in 2019 and stumbled upon a book of crochet succulent patterns at the local library. She had been crocheting since her grandma taught her at 8 years old, but never imagined she would turn this skill into a business. She began selling her “unkillable plants” and has now expanded to making a variety of crochet animals and other mini objects like strawberries, traffic cones and octopus. She aims to spread joy in the world, and loves seeing kids and adults react to her creations.
