I started my jewelry journey in college at UWM where I studied sculpture and snuck into my roommates architecture classes. We loved discussing the overlap of design and form in our respective fields. We lived in a very small apartment. The sculptures I made for my classes were, out of necessity, also very small. Eventually I began wearing them and thus was born Jen Hough Designs.

My philosophy is uncomplicated. I combine amazingly unique and ethically sourced stones with recycled metals to create pieces that can be worn for a lifetime.

A passion for simplicity meets a need for excess. I design and make every piece of jewelry by hand in my still tiny studio.

It makes me so proud and excited to see see the pieces I have made on my customers in person or on social.
