Mackenzie Pikaart makes hand-built, functional ceramic vessels for everyday rituals /routines and adornment of home and body. Everything is made in her West Philadelphia Studio. Mackenzie’s main focus during these times of Covid has been to bring the warmth of the earth into the home with beautifully crafted items. Mackenzie loves exploring all clay bodies ( types and colors of clay ) layering them to create replicas of the earth. on some of her pieces the surfaces look as if they are moving even though they are stationary.
