Fill My Jar was founded in 2015 out of my home as a cottage industry business. I started with about 4 varieties of small batch handmade caramel, toffee and chocolate barks. In 2016 I rented my first commercial kitchen and grew my candy line to about 9 unique as well as traditional flavors. Selling my candy at craft shows and farmers markets. As I grew the business, I began selling at pop up events in buildings throughtout the chicagoland area as well as growing my private event favor line and obtaining corporate clients. In 2020 I purchased a building and opened my first store in Brookfield in early 2021. Now having my own confectioin kitchen I have grown not only the FMJ line but have added a large line on handcrafted treats such as our jumbo nut, caramel clusters, dipped treats ect. We still enjoy and continue doing our pop up events as well as markets as well as growing our clientel for event favors, candy buffets and corporate gifts.
